Join us at a local cafe around Hobsons Bay to hear from one of Hobsons Bay's local authors and get a coffee on us! This project is part of Hobsons Bay Recovery Grants Program and celebrates the rich literary seam that runs through Hobsons Bay. Alison Stuart 

Alison Stuart began her writing career half way up a tree in the school playground where she wrote her first (unpublished) historical romance. She writes historical romance for Harlequin MIRA, Escape Publishing and also publishes independently. She has twelve published novels as well as a number of shorter works.  She also writes historical mysteries as A.M. Stuart.

Nean McKenzie

Nean McKenzie's first book, Cryptosight, was published in October 2019 and her second novel Xenoflight, is coming out in May 2022. Both books are stories for 8-12-year-olds about Australian cryptozoology (creatures that are not proven to exist). Nean has a diploma of Professional Writing and Editing from RMIT and writes regular book reviews for Buzzwords magazine.

Jackie Kerin 

Jackie Kerin is an Australian storyteller and author who writes non-fiction books for children. Her interests lie in stories that bring people closer to nature.
