Rooms

Garden View Room

he activity room is an ideal setting for classes, workshops or meetings. Some of its uses have included dance practice, theatre workshops, choir, AGM, board games. It has a view to the edible garden and access to kitchenette. Folding tables and chairs can be set up in a variety of ways to accommodate visitors. Split system heating / cooling available.

Bay View Room

Our art room is an ideal setting for creative workshops, training and gatherings. It features a built-in bench, with sink, walls with gallery hanging system and views of Altona Beach and access to kitchenette. Past uses have included exhibition launches, art classes, community workshops and network meetings. Folding tables and chairs can be set up in a variety of ways.
From $55/hr (community discount available).

Double Room

The art and activity rooms combined create a large space for training, workshops and celebrations. Make the most of access to a sink, tables and chairs for any configuration, walls for projections, heating and cooling, south and north facing windows.
From $105/hr (community discount available).

Party Hire

Celebrate the ones you love in an ideal bayside and park side location. Cater your own event and make use of clean, accessible, and versatile spaces that includes a hall, covered deck area, pizza oven, barbeque outside with access from car park and inside three bathrooms, kitchenette. Off-street car parking available.
From $120/hr

Meeting Room - Boardroom

Features a Queen St facing window for natural light, block out blinds, shade blinds, carpeted flooring and seats up to twelve people around desks and a fixed whiteboard. Past uses include hybrid meetings, writing workshops, training, green room, study groups.

The Foyer

Louis Joel's foyer is a spacious entry hall suitable for launches, pop-up engagement activities and meet the artist events. Adjacent to Louis Joel Gallery, hirers have access to tables, chairs and audio-visual equipment. From $50/hr

The Snug

A small room made comfortable with furnishings, yet practical for a study or consultation space. Carpeted floors, no windows, split system heating and cooling. Past uses include concentrated study, 1:1 consultations, interviews, chillout space. From $25/hr (community discount available).

Queen Street Building

We have two studios available in our Queen street building for hire for training, workshops and celebrations. Make the most of access to a sink, tables and chairs for any configuration, private kitchenette for light catering including tea/coffee making facilities, heating and cooling, south and north facing windows. From $50/hr (community discount available).
