Community Exhibition Form

Contribute to the theme for our upcoming exhibition

Louis Joel Community & Arts Centre turns 20 this year! We want to hear from our local artist/art enthusiast community to gain an understanding of interests and passions within our local community, and in turn this will help us to evolve a theme for our community exhibition in June. If you were unable to join us for our in-person community workshop in Feb, you can still contribute by answering these questions at the link below

Ivy & Sylvia

Thursday 20th - Sunday 30th March

Ivy and Sylvia is an imagined conversation between two real-life nurses, who served the local area in the first half of last century. It's the story of two women with remarkably different approaches to their shared goals: providing healthcare in Altona during a time of economic recession, prioritising women when many others refused, and working tirelessly with little to no recognition of their efforts.
