5 SARGOOD STREET ALTONA

Altona Pier Revue

A Community Art Project to honour the past, present and future of the Altona Pier

Like all of us who live, go to school and work in the Western suburbs we’re sure you have your own memories and stories to tell about the Altona Pier.

We at Louis Joel Art & Community Centre heard so many stories and shared some beautiful memories with those that use our facilities and visit the centre that we decided to commemorate and celebrate this historic event. We are facilitating three days of celebration at the centre, running a series of three art workshops. The workshops will be dynamic, fun and social events facilitated by 5 local artists.

After the workshop series concludes we are curating an exhibition at the centre 10-30 April to coincide with Heritage month.
